I bought these 2 paintings about 3 weeks ago and still cannot find which Stuart painted these. I bought from an old man and he said they where in a museum, I wasn't to sure about what he said because he was old about 95 or so.

Aybody know who this artist is ?

Thank You

Hi there. These were from Lee Reynolds Burr’s vanguard studio. They produced those ubiquitous Lee Reynolds paintings that you see everywhere. The studio was started by him and his brother Stuart.
Lee had a crew of artists creating paintings “Most bore the name “Lee Reynolds,” but specific accounts, such as furniture stores, wanted exclusive artists’ signatures, so “Vanguard” morphed into the Dutch master-ish “Van Gaard,” and the fictional “Stuart” signature was a tribute to Burr’s brother.”
