Posted - Nov 06 2009 : 13:05:45 Could I ask what is (around) the retail value of a Burlington proof print, of a painting by George Romney, Joseph Brant, the Mohawk Chief, copyright 1918, in London & Washington by the Fine Arts Publishing Co Ltd , 15 Green street, London. It does have the embossed seal of the Burlington proof. The size of the image is : 19" x 24". I have only seen on the internet 2 Burlington proof for sale, 1 on EBay and the other at a Gallery ( different subject), they varied from 700.00 us to 2000.00, Would you know ?
