Posted - Oct 12 2017 : 09:43:35 Recently I bought a beautiful painting, which I ascribe to Paul Verona (see photo). He painted a series of oriental scenes with the same signature. But there are also a lot of his paintings where the signature is different. Someone hinted to me that my painting might be by a man called Vito Perona, but I can hardly find information on him. If the signature is by Paul Verona, why did he change it? Any information welcome. Thanks in advance.
