Posted - Jul 14 2018 : 16:00:47 Thank you for the leads. I think it is a quality piece of art, but it is a puzzle. There is also the monogram to the left in the photo.
Any ideas on the region? Eastern European?
I will never understand why so many artists have to write illegibly.
Posted - Jul 12 2018 : 08:08:11 The first part of the phrase (G* G*) I think it could be the title of painting ( a name perhaps) , while the word "Bum" could be referred to Umberto Mario Baldassari , an italian futurist painter called Bum.
Posted - Jul 12 2018 : 06:47:37 It's a tough signature - if it is a signature! It could be written by another person, who might be a dyslexic German, if the title is supposed to be "Bauern" (farmers) and not "Buern". If so, the name could be misspelled too.
