This picture is signed and numbered by g. Van Santen. I found this painting along with another painting hidden in the same frame. The original picture I found is a victorian painting of two women at a piano. I have found this painting on Ebay. It is signed by Fredric Mizrn. Behind that painting was the painting by Van Santen. The name of the painting is Riviere En Flandre and appears to be very old. I havn't been able to find any information on the artist or the painting. Any help would be appreciated thanks My number is 615-495-5886

I saw your painting by G Van Santen, and I have one very much like it, also signed. It is a copper etching, so the colors are different. I will photograph it if you would like to see it. My Great uncle bought it at a gallery in Paris, in 1926. You can email me at the following email >oscar@surfglobal.net<

There is more than one Van Santen who (regarding epoch) could have done that. An image of the signature would help. Waiting for that, here is a link to a work of Julien Van Santen with informations (28th work on the page-290$). You must know that we can't speak of "painting" about these works you show us. These are "prints"
