I've had this painting for thirty years - there is something intruging, to me, about it.
The size is 9" x 12". It is not framed.

I can't figure out the signature. The impasto is very nicely done - very fresh colors.
The writing seems to be Spanish (maybe Italian).
I would appreciate any translation of the messages on the reverse, or who the artist may be.

Thanks, members, for all the help you have given to me in the past,
Best Regards,
Jimmy N

The date could be 19 Luglio 1963 - Italian for 19 July. Then "Carolina & Ottavio M......t". I think it must have been Ottavio who signed the painting. Lower down, Ottavio's full name is repeated - followed by a capital "S" (?) - then there's an address beginning, I think, "Corso".

Thank you, Hercules,

Every little bit of information really helps. The fact that there is so much information on the reverse, makes this little painting interesting, to me. It is, surely, not a valuable artwork, but has a sense of intrigue.

Thanks, again. You are always a great help.
Regards,
Jimmy N
