Hello,

please take a look at another painting/drawing I have here in question.

Appears to be ink/wash/watercolor drawing done on carton/card rather than on a paper, size of 8.5 x 9.5 inches (for actual drawing) .... signed bottom right corner and is dated what looks like 1931 (or maybe 1951). I can not read the signature and was hoping somebody could help me with the artist name .... First letter seems to be D and that top loop is a part of drawing (in my opinion) rather than part of the signature, last name obviously starts with S ... but then what's after that is a mystery to me .....

Thank you in advance for checking this for me .....

Cyril.

I can't find the artist, but I think the last name could be Soder, possibly of Swedish ancestry, originally Söder.

I have seen several signatures with D's written that way.

Regards,
Vietato
