Does anyone have any information or knowledge of the artist G Dazzuri, seems to be Italian 19th century, can only find one painting recorded, but can't find any more information about this talented artist based on that one painting. Thanks

Carol,

If you happen to be able to take pictures of the painting, the signature, and the reverse, we might have a better indication of the date, style, quality of the work. Without photos, it's very tough to find the artist, sometimes.

Thanks,
Jimmy N.

What if you read the name wrong? Happens all the time. Then we invest our time in researching an artist that never existed.

J. DAZZURI

Thanks for replies, if you look at G Dazzuri on this site you will see one painting The Street Musician, I can't post any pictures as yet as a painting I am sure is by the same hand comes up for auction soon, so I don't own it, but will try to if I can. The reason I asked is I can't find any information about them. The signature certainly looks like G and not J though.

If successful I'll post pictures in due course
