Hello, This a pen and ink and watercolor sketch from 1807. There is an inscription on the back and with that I was able to identify the artist as Fiennes Trotman (1752-1824). I was also able to identify the location as Tythrop House. I can find Fiennes Trotman online, but very little about his art. I find one piece currently for sale for a very high (probably unrealistic) price. I am curious to know of any actual auction or sales records to have an idea of its value. Obviously the piece has water damage and I'm wondering if its worth the effort and cost to restore. I would be appreciative of any input or opinions. The piece measures 11.5" (29cm) by 15" (38cm). Thank you in advance.
