I have a painting with a signature that is very hard to read (see my post yesterday to view). Are there any tricks I might use to try and read it better, like ultraviolet light?

Thanks

What I generally do is treating the pic with Photoshop or a similar software experimenting all kind of effects to try to get a more readable signature. Sometimes darkening the signature can help. Condition: make sure the pic is clear and sharp. Try it out.
Ultraviolet will also be possible.

Good luck!
